The new face of excellence: Rolex Perpetual 1908

The conception is inspired by the first Rolex watches with Perpetual rotor. The name is a reference to the year 1908, when the Rolex brand was officially registered in Switzerland.

The 1908 in 18 carat yellow gold with an intense white dial is distinguished by its slim case. The transparent case back opens new aesthetic perspectives and reveals a uniquely decorated movement. The shape of the hands, faceted hour-markers and bezel - domed and finely fluted - is emblematic of Rolex's watchmaking heritageRolex's watchmaking heritage. They create a delicate interplay between flicker and reflection, where light and shadow meet, giving this new watch a rare beauty and sophistication.

Superlative Chronometer certified, the 1908 is a distillation of Rolex know-how in terms of technology and design. Its calibre 7140, with small seconds, marries performance and elegance. In addition to the innovations that led to the filing of five patent applications, this movement, designed and manufactured specifically for the watch, features the Rolex Côtes de Genève decoration and a cut-out oscillating weight in 18 ct yellow gold. This timepiece is mounted on an alligator leather strap with a green lining, and equipped with the new Dualclasp.
